Every plan includes 1 backup slot. Need more? Open a ticket and we can add slots to your plan.
- Create: go to Backups → Create Backup. You can optionally name it and list files to ignore. For a consistent world save, stop the server first or run the game's save command.
- Download: ⋯ → Download, to keep a copy on your PC.
- Restore: ⋯ → Restore. This replaces your current files with the backup, so the server should be stopped.
- Lock a backup to protect it from deletion, including by scheduled backups.
When the slot is used, delete the old backup (or download it first) to make a new one. A scheduled backup replaces the previous unlocked one.
Some games also keep their own world backups. Valheim, for example, saves automatic world backups alongside the world files.
