Minecraft Java: Installing plugins (Paper) Print

Download plugin .jar files from Hangar, Modrinth or SpigotMC. Pick the version that matches your server.
Upload them to the plugins/ folder (Files or SFTP).
Restart. Plugin configs appear in plugins/<PluginName>/.

Popular first plugins: EssentialsX (homes, warps, kits), LuckPerms (permissions), CoreProtect (grief rollback), Vault.

Plugins only work on Paper/Spigot/Purpur servers, not on Forge or Fabric. For mods, see the modpack guide.
